A brownfield operator required an infield subsea control Electrohydraulic Umbilical (EHU) to replace an existing EHU that had reached the end of its life.
Evolve Surplus sourced the replacement c/w installation reel, completed FAT/acceptance testing in accordance with the requirements of the client and coordinated load out on to the client’s transport vessel.
Evolve Surplus were able to acquire a new/unused surplus umbilical within the APAC region that met the specifications of the new client. The equipment was FAT’d in accordance with the new clients’ requirements, preserved, packed and shipped to South America.
The owner of the surplus EHU was able to monitise the surplus equipment held in stock and the new owner was able to source new subsea production equipment at a reduced project budget estimate cost and zero lead time.
